MILLERS OILS OPEN DAY - A CELEBRATION ---- video fra forside !!!

A triple celebration was held at the Brighouse factory.

Lord Drayson took time out of his busy schedule to officially open the Research and Development Centre. His record breaking and unique electric Lola took a prominent position in the works - which had been transformed into a mini theatre for the day. Lord Drayson is a champion of automotive innovation and it was fitting that someone with this profile should open the state of the art Research Centre.

The Vice Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Mr Tim Hare, presented the Millers Oils export team with a Queen's Award, in recognition of the growth that has been achieved in export sales in recent years. A brief presentation was seen on "Where in the World" we sell, from Europe to Antartica.

125 years in the oil and lubricants business is an achievement, this was the final cause for celebration.

After the formalities of the presentation and official opening, employees joined customers, suppliers, media and race drivers for refreshments and some entertainment.

Several race drivers brought their cars along for a display, including Danni Murphy in here drift Nissan, Jacklyn Ellis with her F2 Stock Car, Matt Edwards with his Evo IX, Callum Black in his new Citroen DS3 and Robin Longdon in his historic Classic Lotus DAD10.
